Boys Like Girls!

I'm really so so excited about this concert! So much looking forward seeing these guys on Saturday in Portsmouth. I really can't wait! I've actually payed a lot to get to see them, as i had to change my flight ticket staying here a little longer, so i could go to their concert. I thought, what are the chances that they will be playing near me in the future (american band), probably not that big, so i just had to go! And i'm sure it will be sooo worth it!

I can't remember when exactly it was i first heard about these guys, must have been last summer or just before. But since then, i've been playing their record over and over again. I just can't get enough of it. All their songs are amazing! Think it might have to be my album of the year (2008). If you've never heard about them, they play some sort of emo/punk/pop/rock music, think that's the best way to describe it. I just think they are great, and it's really my kind of music too! Although i do listen to a lot of different music. You can have listen to them on their webpage: http://www.boyslikegirls.com/. I'll post some pictures from the gig when i've got time.

Shopping in England...

cause you have too! When it's so damn cheap, it would be stupid not to. And to be honest it is what most of my money go to when i'm here and a bit of food too. But hey, i'm a girl so it's okay, right? Well I've bought a few things already, mostly clothes. Ohh and a lovely pair of shoes! Here we go:

Long cardigan from New Look £22

Miso Long Cardigan from Republic £24,25 or buy 2 for £30

Soul Cal Check Dress from Republic £26,41 or buy 2 for £30

Purple open waisted with twisted front peep toe by Roberto Vianni £35

This is just a few of the things i've bought so far. I really needed some cardigans/jumpers, whichis why i've bought three being here already. Then there's the dress from Republic, it's actually not something i would normally go for, but i thought it was kinda cute, and a good every day dress, which i have none of, i always end up buying fancy dresses for going out. Plus i got a great offer with the grey cardigan and the dress for £30, bargain!

The purple shoes were the first thing i bought, actually only one day after i got here, and i absolutely love them! I've been wanting some purple shoes for a while, just haven't seen any i liked. But now i've got some, and i have bought a really nice purple dress from ZARA that goes perfect with them. I'll post that too when i get a good picture of it. So far i'm really happy with everything i've bought, just hoping it can fit it all in my suitcase for the journey home.

Another trip to the UK!

Here I am again, getting ready for another of my many trips to the UK. Well, for a good reason of course. For the people who do not know me very well, i have a boyfriend living in England. Yeah brilliant choice, right?! To be honest, yes sure it's hard not seeing each other much and all that, but i really wouldn't have it any other way! I've found my perfect guy, so i'm not letting him go!

Anyway, back to what i really wanted to talk about. Going away on holidays. I'm sure most people have done it before, or else they have something to look forward to, that's for sure. As you can probably figure out i'm use to all that. I have for many years been a happy customer of the flight company Sterling, which now no longer exist. So for the last couple of months i've tried different companies out, to get the best offers really.

Tomorrow i'm leaving yet again, going from Billund Airport to London Stansted with Ryan Air. It's not really the best flight for me, but i got it really cheap. There is one little thing that is a problem for me though. I'm use to only being away for a long weekend, but this time i'm there for 10 days! Which is really cool, but it also means i need to bring more clothes and shoes and everything! And with Ryan Airs stupid rules i'm only allowed 15 kgs! If i have more than that, they will charge me insanely much pr. kg.

So here i am, packing my suitcase, and realizing that there is no way, that i can get everything i want with me to fit into the stupid suitcase and only weigh 15 kgs! So what do i do now? Do i have to leave something behind? And maybe buy stuff when i get there? I don't think it's fair to be put in this situation... But i'm sure i'm not the only one having this problem. Have you ever been in the same situation? Do you always find it difficult to pack your suitcase? And are you praying your hardest when putting the suitcase on the scale?
