The yearly Runrig concert

Okay, I know what most people think when I tell them I'm a Runrig fan. They really don't seem to understand why... Lots of people haven't even heard about the band and others simply believes that Runrig are for the older generation. They should know better, hehe. Okay, to be honest they are partly right. Runrig is an old Scottish band that have been playing for over 30 years, and therefore they do have a lot of old fans, but it doesn't mean it's only old people liking them. I see lots of younger people when i'm at the concerts, and i'll tell you why.

This is how I became a fan of Runrig. My parents used to go to the Tønder Festival in Jutland every year, and they would always come home and tell me about how great Runrig were. Then one summer they played a concert in Den Fynske Landsby (a little old village in Odense), and my parents asked me to come along, I said no at first as I didn't really know them and was sure it wasn't anything I would like. I ended up going anyway, and I'm so glad I did!

Going to a Runrig concert is an amazing experience! I have never in my life met such a wonderful happy audience and the atmosphere is indescribable! You can't say you don't like Runrig, until you've been to a concert with them. I love their music too, so happy, dancy and folk rock is actually really nice! I now go to their concerts every summer when they play in Odense. A tradition I have with a big part of my family and something I hope will never change.

From Runrig's 30th anniversary at Stirling Castle (Day of Days, 2003).

I recommend a Runrig concert to all music lovers, it's amazing and you will feel so happy afterwards! Plus you'll keep singing and dancing all night, absolutely fantastic!

I'm going to see them tonight at Den Fynske Landsby, i'll bring my Scottish flag and be the crazy fan as always!!

Next weeks listings on ebay!

I'm gonna have a little sale on ebay starting monday next week. I've for some time now had a few things i've been thinking about selling, but I just haven't got around to it, until now! I'm kinda tired of having nice shoes and clothes lying around when I can't use it anyway. So why not try and sell it instead? I'm therefore putting these two pairs of shoes up for auction.

Black New Look Sandals size 7/40 - £ 20

I bought these sandals a season or two ago in England. They are from the high street fashion brand New Look, and actually really nice. I've for some reason bought them a size too big though, and have therefore never used them. A real shame as I actually do like them.

Red Glitter Peep Toe Shoes size 6/39 (bought on ebay from aspireshoes) - £ 16.99

I fell in love with these shoes the second I saw them! I think they are absolutely gorgeous. I bought them on ebay, but they are quite small in the size so I couldn't fit a size 6, but had to buy a bigger size. Because of the expense of postage returning the shoes I decided I couldn't be bothered to, but instead i'm just gonna sell them myself.

As said these shoes will be on ebay from monday next week, but if you already now like any of them please let me know and i'll be more than happy to sell them to you before putting them on ebay, and maybe even give a little discount too. Just contact me before monday evening.

First bit of shopping this month

I've said this many times before, but i'm gonna say it again. Working in a clothes shop is very very hard for a lady. There are so many times you have to avoid temptation and sometimes you just can't! I've put these clothes aside at work for buying tomorrow. I love getting new clothes, it's such a good feeling!!

I've been looking at the flowery top for a while, but as i'm not use to wearing colourful clothes with patterns and such I didn't really think it would be me. I tried it on anyway and it was actually really cute! Perfect for the summer! The grey leggings should hopefully match a dress i've got, plus they are on sale and very comfy and nice to wear. I haven't got a lot of tops and i've been looking everywhere for some nice ones for the summer, but haven't seen any I like so I thought I would just get some basic ones and then I can always wear them with something else that makes them look a bit more interesting. The t-shirt is just a really nice colour on me and it's kinda cute too!

TOPSHOP
Sweet and sour love geeks tee - 229 kr
Paris Flower zip cami - 299 kr
Grey Superglossy leggings - 114 kr (half price)
Basic v neck vests (pink and green) - 79 kr each

The prices are from Topshop in Magasin, Odense. You can also buy the clothes on their webpage http://www.topshop.com/

Upcoming concerts this year!

I have recently bought myself some tickets for two upcoming concerts this year, well at least so far. There might be other great gigs coming up that I wanna go to. It's two very different artists and genre of music though, but I like lots of different music, and I think these two concerts are gonna be awesome!

The first one is with the very odd, but super talented Lady Gaga! I'm going to her concert in Copenhagen the 31st of July. I'm really looking forward to it. I hope that she'll play some of her songs acoustic as I really love that! She's got such a special and beautiful voice, but that doesn't really come out in her songs on her album. I still love lots of the songs though. They've got a very good beat to them, and the lyrics are quite funny. It's very dancy party music (what i've heard of it so far), but that's good too. I've also heard her performances are crazy, so it can only be wild!!

Lady Gaga

The other concert is the one I'm looking forward to the most! This band has been on my list of bands I wanna see live for a looong time. I honestly didn't think I was ever gonna see them as I haven't heard any news from the band for years. But then suddenly I heard something. They've been making a new album and are back on world tour this year!! Woohoo! I'm so happy that they are back!!! As soon as tickets went on sale I was ready to get some. I'm off to see one of the coolest rock bands I know, Green Day!! I bought tickets for the O2 concert in London on the 24th of October. I'll be going with my boyfriend as he's a big fan of them too. I really can not wait!! Rock on!! :D

The beauty of loving a pair of shoes!

Yes, it's possible! Although probably a lady thing. We tend to fall in love with material things, hehe. But I think it's good for us, as it's a lot easier to buy than "real" love. Anyway, I was having a look around ebay the other day, what a dangerous place to be! They have got so many things, clothes, shoes, etc. and most of it to a price that you just can't resist buying things. To avoid temptations from ebay is simply just impossible!

I was actually having a look for something specific. I've got these gold glitter shoes from New Look, which are my favourite dancing shoes ever! They are pretty worn out now though, and I really regret not buying them in silver and black too! So I was having a look to see if anyone were selling any. No luck there. But then I saw this pair of red glitter shoes!! I had a closer look and knew right away I shouldn't have done that! They were absolutely gorgeous! I just couldn't believe it. I was sat there thinking about it for a while, although I knew I had to buy them. See that's what happens when you fall in love with shoes. You HAVE TO buy them, if you don't you're gonna be thinking of them for a loooong time, and really regret it. Plus as always it was a bargain from ebay!! So I bought them and they are now on their way! Can't wait to try them on!

Red glitter satin bow peep toe shoe - £ 16.99

What do you think of the shoes? And have you bought some shoes, because you fell in love with them?

Last couple of weeks shopping

I've tried my best not to buy too many things the last couple of weeks, and to be honest I think i've done quite well, considering I have to look at clothes all day ;) It's been lovely weather all April and i'm really getting in a good summer mood, but I really could do with some more summerclothes, which is also why i'm always looking for something. Colourful and summery clothes!

I found these two dresses a couple of weeks ago, and I thought they were really nice and summery, plus they fitted me perfectly, so I bought them right away! Then we got this blazer home last week. I just fell in love with it the second I saw it. Really cute, perfect as a summer jacket and I must admit I kinda like the schoolgirl look, hehe.

Topshop:
Jersey Schoolgirl Blazer - £ 55
Cherry Strappy Sundress - £ 28
Coral Bow Vest Dress - £ 28

The prices are from Topshop's webpage. http://www.topshop.com/

You can also buy the clothes in Topshop, Magasin, Odense.

Working towards my future as a Media graphic designer

Yet again I have to apologize for not doing anything on my blog for weeks!! I've just been so busy with other things, that I haven't taken the time to do anything at all. But I've got some time tonight, so I think i'm gonna do a couple of things. First of all do a little update to tell you guys what i've been so busy with lately.

As you might know I've decided that I want to be a media graphic designer. I've always loved being creative and do different things, especially graphics on the computer. My first (and only) year on uni have helped me a lot to find out what I really wanna do, and i'm so happy I finally know. Which is also why i'm working hard these days, to get what I want! I need to get into this school to get started on the education as a graphic designer, but it ain't exactly easy. Only around 20 people get in, unless you've got a place to work as a trainee. I'm therefore trying to find a place that wanna hire me as their trainee, which is really hard considering I haven't got much experience, but i've got to try! I've been writing lots of letters lately to ask different companies about possible work, so right now i'm just really hoping for the best!!

Another thing that have kept me busy is work. Since i'm not really at uni much anymore i've got lots of extra hours at work. Which i'm really happy about as I can always use the money, but it is hard working in a shop all day. Plus being a girl you wanna buy so many things! Really have to avoid lots of temptations every day!! So far I haven't been that good at it. I've bought quite a few things lately. I'll be blogging about that later!

Song in my head # 2

I really should do this more often as I always do have some song or something on my mind... But as i've said before i'm not very good at doing my blogging very often, but here's another one. I've been singing this all night, and now i'm on my way to bed, and i really hope the song is gone when i wake up. Not that i don't like the song, actually i love it! I've been listening to it a lot today, which is probably why it's in my head now.

The amazing talented singer Lady Gaga's acoustic version of the song Poker Face. I really just love it. Love everything about it, her voice, the way she sings it and the performance. I just can't get enough of it. And on top of that she was live on American Idol last night! How lucky can you be. The thing I like about her too is that she seem to change the song almost every time she perform it. First of all that's very hard to do and it really shows her great talent. But it's also cool as you never know what to expect, you'll always get surprised and no matter what she's gonna do an amazing show and always wear something so special it's never seen before, love it!!

Lady Gaga with Poker Face live on American Idol

What i've been looking for!

My search is finally over, i've found exactly what i've been looking for. A nice looking, simple and cool leather-look jacket! I'm so so happy, I absolutely love it. I wanna wear it all the time, hehe. It's not really warm enough yet though, well at least I don't think so. I know everyone else are wearing one, but i'm always so cold so i'll wait a bit for the weather to change... Can't wait for the summer to come!

I just love it when you buy something and you are all ecstatic about it. Then you know it's one of the best things you've ever bought! I got home and tried the jacket on in front of the mirror and I was like "why haven't I bought one earlier, it looks really cool". I'm so glad I decided to get one now. I've been thinking about it for a while but wasn't sure if it was really me, but I think it adds something really cool to my style. I like a bit of rock so I can be a cool rock chick in leather now, yeah baby!! ;)

Leather-look jacket from H&M - 349 kr

I was stupid enough to bid on a leather jacket on ebay before I went shopping in town, and as nobody overbid me I have another one on it's way, i'm so clever... But I guess I can always sell it again. Not even sure I fit it. It's a nice jacket though, from New Look a size 12. So if anyone is interested let me know. I'll sell it quite cheap as I got it for a bargain :)

Adam Lambert from American Idol season 8

I watch a lot of different tv-shows, but there's only a few that I don't miss a single episode of! One of them is this season of American Idol. I got into watching lots of series on a webpage called http://www.surfthechannel.com/ (thanks to Jeanett for telling me about it). You can find so many shows there it's unbelievable! When the new season of American Idol then came up I just watched the first episodes as it's always so funny with the people that can't sing, but I easily get hooked on something like this, and I'm now watching it every week. I must admit there's a few contestants I really like this season, one of them is Adam Lambert. He just got something really special going on. I do think he's one of these people you either love or hate. But I absolutely love what he can do with his voice, i think it's really cool!

So have a listen to his performance from this week singing "Play that funky music", so groovy, hehe. Or you can go to surfthechannel and watch all episodes and a lot of other good shows. Enjoy!

A week of shopping in the UK!

Last week I was so lucky to be visiting the UK for an entire week, and I even got the flight tickets for free as my parents came along!! I know, I'm so spoiled! And even though I was really there to celebrate my mums and nephews b'day and of course to see my lovely boyfriend, I just can't visit the UK without going shopping! It's just so cheap that it would be stupid not too! Plus I had saved up quite a bit of money to buy some new summerclothes for this season.

But as always, when you've got money you can't find anything, and when you are broke you want to buy everything. I did still find a few things that i liked though, here is a little collection of some of it. I apologize for the bad pictures, but I haven't been able to find the clothes online so I had to take pictures of it myself and they aren't that great really. Feel free to leave a comment!

Purple long top from Trf (bought in Zara) - £19.99

Summerdress from H&M - £12.99

Coral top from River Island - £ 19.99

First time shopping on Asos

I've for a while been looking for clothes on Asos, but never bought anything, until now! Yes I know it's dangerous cause you can so easily get hooked on something like this, but I've taken the chance. I'm looking for some nice summer dresses, and as I didn't find a lot on my trip to England I thought it would be okay to buy some on Asos. I've had my eyes on these two for a while and now they are on their way. I really hope they fit me, wasn't sure what size to go for as I've never tried any of their clothes. Hopefully they'll be arriving in a couple of days, can't wait! :)

Looking for summer clothes

This summers fashion is coming out and it's time to start looking for some new summer clothes. I must admit summer still seems so far away, but I really can't wait for the weather to get better. Hopefully the summer will be better this year, I seriously need some colour! I've been looking around this week to see what this season will bring. I've already bought my first summer dress, which is this cute dress from Topshop. It's just so much me, so I had to get it!

Picnic pink dress from Topshop - 299 Dkr

I'm only just getting started though. I really don't have a lot of nice colourful summer clothes, always end up buying classic black, so i'm looking for something a bit more colourful and summery. Coral seems to be really in this season and i've found these two dresses that i quite like. I'm gonna have a look for them when I visit England in just over two weeks time. Can't wait! It's my plan to find lots of new summer clothes when i'm there, so hopefully I will.

Strappy Dress from River Island - £34,99

Bow Front Shift Dress from Topshop - £45

I can't remember when I last had a Demin Jacket, but think it was when I was 14, so quite a long time ago now. And I really didn't think I was gonna find one, but I do like this little one from River Island, would be really great for the summer, could go with any dress really. And then there's the last dress, just thought it was kinda cute, I like the colours and the design.

Demin Jacket from River Island - £ 39,99

Pinny Cami Dress from River Island - £24,99

What do you think of this seasons colours and clothes? Have you seen anything you really want to get?

Back to blogging and shopping...

First of all I wanna apologize for being such a bad blogger. I just haven't had much to share lately i guess or maybe i'm just not the blogger type, i really don't know. But i'll keep posting things whenever i've got something on my mind or heart that i wanna share with you guys, so please still come by and read it whenever :)

And yes i've been shopping again! Not a lot really, as i wasn't suppose to buy anything for the rest of this month, but I found a bit in Topshop, the bad thing about working in a shop, you get tempted every day, it's so hard, haha! Anyway, i just bought a pair of shorts, been looking for some black shorts for a while and these were the best i could find. Plus i can use them now with tights under and for the summer too!

Black shorts from Topshop

I also bought these slipper boots as they were a real bargain, and i always have cold feet, especially living in a basement. The colour of them change a bit, mine are a bit more golden than grey. But they are soooo soft and lovely to wear!

Eskimo-Furry Slipper Boot from Topshop

That was all for now. I've decided that i'm gonna try not to buy anything in March. I know it's gonna be so hard for me, as I love shopping. But i'm going to the UK last week in the month so I wanna save my money for that. Hopefully it's possible. And i think it's time to start looking for some new summerclothes too, I really haven't got a lot. All my dresses are dark and all my tops are old.. hehe. Plus I really need some more colourful clothes. I'm just not good at buying some, I always end up with black or dark classic colours, I need help!

Kings of Leon in the spot light

These four guys (three brothers and their cousin) from Tennessee, US have really moved up the charts the last couple of months with their newest album "Only by the Night", including hit singles such as "Use Somebody" and "Sex on Fire". They have played for years, but in Denmark we haven't heard much of them until now, or maybe that's just me...

They have for sure proved themself with their new album, which is a big success all over Europe, where they also are on tour right now. And i must say i'm a big fan! I'm kinda annoyed with missing the chance to see them when they were in CPH last week. Hopefully they'll be back again some day soon. I just really like their music, i've only just got the album, but i already love "Use Somebody", such a great song, and i love his voice, brilliant! What do you think about them?

Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody

Another round of shopping!

We all buy things even if we say we've got no money. Somehow you can always find some money if you see something you just must have! It's not only cause you really want it, but it's cause you need it, right ladies? I think we ladies always need clothes, shoes and bags, you can't have enough!

Last week I went away on holiday for a long weekend, and of course being somewhere new, i had to go shopping. There was only one tiny problem, i really didn't have a lot of money. I still got away with buying some new jeans though. To be honest i've been looking for a good pair for such a long time, and finding these Miss Sixty there was no way i wasn't gonna get them! I already have a pair of Miss Sixty and they have been my favourite jeans for years. They seem to be the only ones fitting me perfect, so i don't mind paying a little extra for some really nice jeans.

At the same time i found this bag from Friis & Company, and i really liked it. (Looks better irl than on this picture). But not having a lot of money i ended up only picking one thing, the jeans, which i have regretted ever since! (not buying the bag too, i mean). I went to buy it on the last day but the shop wasn't open. I then hoped that they would have it back in Odense, but sadly no... I have now bought it online, which of course have cost me extra for sending it with the post, so annoying, but at least i'll get my bag!!

Song in my head # 1

I've decided to do this thing called Song in my head. I quite often have a song in my head for a whole day, sometimes more annoying than others, but as i love music i'm gonna write about it here, maybe it will even get the song out of my head...

So today's song is called "Dreaming with a broken heart". I think it's original by John Mayer, but i first heard it not too long ago in the Danish X-factor '09. This very young boy called Lukas is doing a really nice version that i absolutely love! What do you think of it?

When you're dreaming with a broken heart
The waking up is the hardest part
You roll outta bed and down on your knees
And for the moment you can hardly breathe
Wondering was she really here? Is she standing in my room?
No she's not, 'cause she's gone, gone, gone, gone, gone....

Going on holiday with your family

I've just got back from three days in a summerhouse with my parents and boyfriend. And i think i've realized i'm getting too old for that now. I've for years been going away with my parents, and it's been great, sure. And the fact that you get to go away on holiday for free, is really great, yeah i know that's a bit lame, but i wouldn't be able to do it on my own. So i'm really happy i've been able to come along with them for so many years, but this might be the last to be honest.

I love my parents, of course i do, but lately things are just really getting on my nerves at home. We just seem to argue most of the time, and never have any proper conversations. Well to be honest, i've never been close to my parents, so that's nothing new. But i think i'm getting to the point where i really wish i wasn't living home anymore. I still feel like a child being here. Like i'm not in full control of my own life, and it's really annoying, being as old as i actually am.

Going away on holiday doesn't make things better. Being in the car today was killing me! I try to sleep most of the time we drive on holiday, but it was my last hours with my boyfriend before he had to leave so i wanted to be awake and be with him. Therefore i had to listen to my parents constant arguing about where to go and such. It drives me crazy! Why is it always like that? It really just makes me sad listening to them... I know i don't make things better by telling my dad he doesn't help enough around the house (as i'm not doing it myself). But i really think it would be better if i moved, which is why i so can't wait till the day i'm going to! Plus i know it will be with my other half, which will make life even better!

But tell me, have you ever been tried of your parents (i bet you have)? And why? And have you had same problem going on holidays with them when you did?

This weeks shopping!

Being a girl i like buying lots of clothes, and working in Topshop, Magasin doesn't make it any easier to resist buying something. Which is also why i went over my clothes budget (for the month) this weekend. I just really needed some clothes, and right now there's some really good sales in our store. Plus the fact that i get lots of discount helps a lot. I therefore bought a jumper, a basic jersey and a cardigan for 260kr!! I think that's a real bargain.

I then found out that Oasis had this gorgeous dress in store. I first saw it when i went to England, and loved it so much. Didn't buy it as it was £65, which i thought was a bit too much. When i then found out i could get 50% off working in Topshop, i had to try it on, and it was like a dream, it was just absolutely perfect on me, how lucky can you be?! I just had to buy it! So here it is, i know it's a bit business woman like, but i think it's so cute on, and i love the description of it!

I've been thinking about getting a new phone for ages, but i haven't seen anything i really liked. I've been happy with my Nokia 6300 for a couple of years now until the camera recently stopped working, which obviously was really annoying. I therefore very spontaneously bought myself a new phone Tuesday. Well i've been looking at this phone for quite some time now, but just haven't been able to make up my mind about it. It's not really a big change as the phones are quite alike, but i needed a new one, and it was the best i could find. So i ended up buying this Nokia 6500 classic. I've now spend some days playing around with the new, and saying goodbye to the old one, which to be honest have been really hard. I'm annoyed that i can't save my messages on the sim-card and put them on the new phone or anything, so many good memories... But there's nothing to do, i just have to get use to my new phone!

Doesn't it just feel great buying something you really want or really love! It can keep you happy for days, or at least thats what i think...

The big question: What do you wanna be when you grow up?

How many times haven't you heard this question. And how many times through your life haven't you changed your mind about what you want in life. I'm sure most of us been there, wondering what we want to do some day. And then one day you suddenly realize it's time to make that decision, find out what you wanna do, so you can start educating yourself to reach that goal.

For some people this is harder than others. I have for years dread the day of making this decision, as i really had no idea what i wanted to do. Of course i want to work with something i find interesting and like doing, but i also need some stability in the business i go into, and it have to be something that i can see myself working with for years. Finding this education/job haven't been easy for me, but i feel i'm getting closer to it, which is a really nice feeling.

I started at UNI last year, studying Media Science . I have always found the creative side of media very interesting and appealing. Although it turned out to be nothing like what i expected or hoped. I did actually surprise myself by going to UNI as i've always said it wasn't really me, and i guess i was right in some ways. I'm just not really the student type of person, i simply can't concentrate about reading all the time. I like doing something that's more creative and practical. Which is why i have decided not to finish UNI.

Here comes another issue, other people, mostly family! Why is it that everyone seem so disappointed with you when you drop out of school? I don't know if it's just me, but i would like someone supporting me in my decision, and not making me feel like a failure. I don't feel like i've wasted time at all, i've learned a lot going to UNI. I've learned that it's not what i want. I have found out there's other things out there that's more appealing to me. And i've made myself a plan that i'm feeling really good about. For once in my life, i feel good about what i'm doing and where i'm headed. So i'm not gonna give up!

I'm not gonna go too much into details about my plan, but i can reveal a few things. I'm trying and hoping to get into a school to study to be a Media Graphic Designer. Only thing is, it's damn hard to get in. There's only a few people that get in twice a year, only the most talented ones. I know it's not gonna be easy, but i really wanna try this. Looks like the right thing for me. I can be creative, and use a computer at the same time, pretty much what i'm doing every day anyway. I do have to make a portfolio to apply for this course, which i to be honest have no idea how to do. I'm therefore having a little look around to see what's on the net about it. I've found lots of good stuff so far. I found this page early about typography which is a big part of being a graphic designer; http://ilovetypography.com/. They have so many different fonts it's crazy, i really like this one though, i think it's kinda cool, reminds me a bit of th 60's.

So do you know what you wanna be or do in life? Or are you still trying things out? Maybe you are already there, done with educating yourself and working with your dreamjob? Or maybe you still don't know for sure what you want... No matter what i think it's important to take your time and think about it, and if you have to try lots of different educations before you find the right one, so what?! There's no point in finishing 5 years on UNI if it's not really what you wanna do, right...

Valentine's Day...

also known as Saint Valentine's Day, the 14th of February. All around the world people celebrate this "holiday" as the Americans call it. But why do we need to? I can see the point that it's really cute for loved ones to send each other cards and all that. But has it not gone a little too crazy over the last couple of years? All the things you can get in the shops, i know it's not so bad in Denmark, but in England all the windows are filled with hearts and stuff already!

I have never celebrated this day myself until last year, and to be honest it's probably only cause my boyfriend is English that i do. It's very sweet and thoughtful, sure, but to me it's just another day in a year putting pressure on people, finding the right and perfect present for their loved ones. Maybe it's just cause i'm not very good at finding personal and nice presents, i don't know. But i just don't see the need to have a day like this. A day for people to tell others their true feelings? Why do people need a day for that? Can't they say it any other day? Do some people wait months for this day to come before they dare to say anything to somebody they really like? I think that's just stupid, if that's the case. I like every day to be like this day. Not getting each others cards and stuff, but telling someone you love them, you just do when it's right and not cause it's Valentine's. Although to be honest, after having said all this, i'll probably still get my boyfriend a card, just cause it's sweet in some way, and i know he'll get me one too, so it's just a nice little thing really. But tell me what you think about Valentine's Day? Do you celebrate it yourself? Or do you think it's a stupid tradition?

Boys Like Girls!

I'm really so so excited about this concert! So much looking forward seeing these guys on Saturday in Portsmouth. I really can't wait! I've actually payed a lot to get to see them, as i had to change my flight ticket staying here a little longer, so i could go to their concert. I thought, what are the chances that they will be playing near me in the future (american band), probably not that big, so i just had to go! And i'm sure it will be sooo worth it!

I can't remember when exactly it was i first heard about these guys, must have been last summer or just before. But since then, i've been playing their record over and over again. I just can't get enough of it. All their songs are amazing! Think it might have to be my album of the year (2008). If you've never heard about them, they play some sort of emo/punk/pop/rock music, think that's the best way to describe it. I just think they are great, and it's really my kind of music too! Although i do listen to a lot of different music. You can have listen to them on their webpage: http://www.boyslikegirls.com/. I'll post some pictures from the gig when i've got time.

Shopping in England...

cause you have too! When it's so damn cheap, it would be stupid not to. And to be honest it is what most of my money go to when i'm here and a bit of food too. But hey, i'm a girl so it's okay, right? Well I've bought a few things already, mostly clothes. Ohh and a lovely pair of shoes! Here we go:

Long cardigan from New Look £22

Miso Long Cardigan from Republic £24,25 or buy 2 for £30

Soul Cal Check Dress from Republic £26,41 or buy 2 for £30

Purple open waisted with twisted front peep toe by Roberto Vianni £35

This is just a few of the things i've bought so far. I really needed some cardigans/jumpers, whichis why i've bought three being here already. Then there's the dress from Republic, it's actually not something i would normally go for, but i thought it was kinda cute, and a good every day dress, which i have none of, i always end up buying fancy dresses for going out. Plus i got a great offer with the grey cardigan and the dress for £30, bargain!

The purple shoes were the first thing i bought, actually only one day after i got here, and i absolutely love them! I've been wanting some purple shoes for a while, just haven't seen any i liked. But now i've got some, and i have bought a really nice purple dress from ZARA that goes perfect with them. I'll post that too when i get a good picture of it. So far i'm really happy with everything i've bought, just hoping it can fit it all in my suitcase for the journey home.

Another trip to the UK!

Here I am again, getting ready for another of my many trips to the UK. Well, for a good reason of course. For the people who do not know me very well, i have a boyfriend living in England. Yeah brilliant choice, right?! To be honest, yes sure it's hard not seeing each other much and all that, but i really wouldn't have it any other way! I've found my perfect guy, so i'm not letting him go!

Anyway, back to what i really wanted to talk about. Going away on holidays. I'm sure most people have done it before, or else they have something to look forward to, that's for sure. As you can probably figure out i'm use to all that. I have for many years been a happy customer of the flight company Sterling, which now no longer exist. So for the last couple of months i've tried different companies out, to get the best offers really.

Tomorrow i'm leaving yet again, going from Billund Airport to London Stansted with Ryan Air. It's not really the best flight for me, but i got it really cheap. There is one little thing that is a problem for me though. I'm use to only being away for a long weekend, but this time i'm there for 10 days! Which is really cool, but it also means i need to bring more clothes and shoes and everything! And with Ryan Airs stupid rules i'm only allowed 15 kgs! If i have more than that, they will charge me insanely much pr. kg.

So here i am, packing my suitcase, and realizing that there is no way, that i can get everything i want with me to fit into the stupid suitcase and only weigh 15 kgs! So what do i do now? Do i have to leave something behind? And maybe buy stuff when i get there? I don't think it's fair to be put in this situation... But i'm sure i'm not the only one having this problem. Have you ever been in the same situation? Do you always find it difficult to pack your suitcase? And are you praying your hardest when putting the suitcase on the scale?
